We’re very excited to report that a group of Year 12 entrepreneurs are currently topping the national leader board in the Tycoon In Schools competition (Key Stage 5 Spring 2021-22), with £825.11 profit and 165% return on investment!

Chenaya H, Tanya D, Sofia M, Alicia-Rose G and Moni O have been selling personalised tote bags to members of the Q community and beyond, and it’s fair to say that business has been extremely good.

‘Tote It’ are hopeful that they can match – or surpass – the success of last year’s EMPYRE, who finished runners-up in the National Final. Watch this space!

Tycoon, founded by Peter Jones of Dragon's Den fame, is a unique national enterprise competition for students aged 6 to 18. Every participating team writes a business plan, is lent money, starts a business and trades, competing with other student companies through a kickstarter -style platform, in a safe and controlled environment.
