The Admissions Journey
Choosing the right school for your daughter is a very important and difficult decision. We aim to help you through the whole process, making it as enjoyable and painless as possible. This section of our website has been carefully planned to guide you through the process and procedures of admissions from start to finish. If you are a grandparent, or are acting on behalf of the family, please adapt the information to suit your situation.
Entry to Queenswood is by examination, interview and satisfactory reference from the Headteacher of the applicant’s current school. To start this process, a registration must be completed. You can view our full Admissions Policy in the Policies section of this website.
We offer all girls who are in Year 6 or above, and who are considering joining the school, the opportunity to have a ‘taster day/sleepover’ at Queenswood either before or after registration. If your daughter is interested in this please contact the Admissions Office to arrange a suitable date: telephone 01707 602500 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
To register your daughter complete a Registration Form (downloadable here or available from the Admissions Office) and pay a non-refundable fee of £125 for EU applicants or £250 for non-EU applicants (to cover administration costs). Cheques should be made payable to ‘Queenswood School Ltd’. If you are paying the registration fee by bank transfer, please include your daughter’s name as a reference.
You are advised to register as early as possible. On receipt of the completed form and payment we will contact you to confirm that we have placed your daughter’s name on the entry list.
