The Admissions Journey

Choosing the right school for your daughter is a very important and difficult decision. We aim to help you through the whole process, making it as enjoyable and painless as possible. This section of our website has been carefully planned to guide you through the process and procedures of admissions from start to finish. If you are a grandparent, or are acting on behalf of the family, please adapt the information to suit your situation.

Entry to Queenswood is by examination, interview and satisfactory reference from the Headteacher of the applicant’s current school. To start this process, a registration must be completed. You can view our full Admissions Policy in the Policies section of this website.

We offer all girls who are in Year 6 or above, and who are considering joining the school, the opportunity to have a ‘taster day/sleepover’ at Queenswood either before or after registration. If your daughter is interested in this please contact the Admissions Office to arrange a suitable date: telephone 01707 602500 or email [email protected].

"I love how everyone gets along so well. I joined at the start of the year and I felt so welcomed and I feel as if I've been here forever. The friendships are so strong."

– Helena, Year 8

To register your daughter complete the Registration Form and pay a non-refundable fee of £130 for UK and one-term applicants or £260 for all international applicants (more than one term) to cover administration costs.

You are advised to register as early as possible. On receipt of the completed form and payment we will contact you to confirm that we have placed your daughter’s name on the entry list.

"It is important to the girls that they feel welcome and the staff are open and friendly. The taster days and the personalised communications addressed directly to my daughter are very successful."
