Parental Guidance to Academic Systems at Queenswood
These guides are designed to give parents information about the academic communication points across the Queenswood School year. The timetable for these varies across the year groups and are intended to provide information at the key moments, rather than being fixed at the end of terms. We have three formal types of communication, each with different aims, and these are spread across the year, one in every half term. Parents will therefore have a regular indication of academic progress, and equally importantly, of effort.
The first section of the guide gives information about each of the three types of communication, and how to access it, whilst the second goes into more detail about how grades are derived at each point.
