You may recall from earlier reports, that in in July 2024, sixteen students from our current Years 10 and 11 will venture on a 14 day World Challenge Expedition to Borneo,  Before our intrepid explorers can embark on this incredible trip, they each have to raise £3,500 to cover their costs - no mean feat! 

Setting their fundraising in motion, on Thursday this week, the students held a bake sale in the Dining Room where they sold a variety of delicious cup cakes, biscuits and sweet treats. Their goodies were eagerly snapped up by the pupils and when the sale was over, our World Challenge travellers toured the School, selling the remaining cakes to very appreciative members of staff.

Miss Yaffe, our World Challenge and DofE coordinator, reports that the bake sale raised an impressive £350, which will be shared equally among the fundraising totals of the sixteen students joining the expedition. We send our congratulations to Miss Yaffe and her World Challenge team!
