I’ve been boarding in Trew House since September and I absolutely love it. There are so many reasons why boarding in Trew is an amazing experience but I'll just list a few.

Number 1: How much the boarding staff make it feel like home. Ms Yaffe’s and Miss Garrood’s doors are always open for us to talk to them. No matter whether it’s just for a catch-up with tea and chocolates or if you want to talk through some problems that you may be having, they are always happy to help and will listen to you.

Number 2: The family friendly vibe Trew always gives. You are allowed to decorate your room any way you want, whether that’s with vines or hundreds of cushions, or a sunset lamp. Trew will always allow you to make your room feel like home. In Trew there are Year 11s mixed with Lower/Upper 6th, which really integrates the year groups and you are able to form bonds and make friendships through the different year groups. This also allows you to talk to the upper years and ask about different A-Level options which can be thoroughly helpful.

Number 3: The amount of amazing memories you make whilst still in school, during Treat Nights. Trew mixes up and changes the range of activities we do. My personal favourite one was definitely the pottery painting – we were sitting in the kitchen and people from all the year groups were in there.

I'm sure from just these few points you can see that boarding in Trew is a wonderful and exciting time!
