Queenswood are delighted to be supporting Isabel Hospice in a their new five-year sustainability initiative - Tonnes of Care. The hospice aim to save 25,000 tonnes from landfill by 2027 - and at the same time, raise vital income to fund their specialist care and support for those living with a long-term progressive illness.

All of the hospice's services are free of charge to those who need them, but they are not without cost. By supporting the Tonnes of Care campaign we aim to help Isabel Hospice raise the seven million pounds they need every year, to care for people in eastern Hertfordshire.

So how can you help?

The Tonnes of Care team will be by the security hut in the main car park on Monday between 8am and 8.30am, to receive your generous donations of pre-loved clothes, books, electricals and other household items - please see the leaflet below. These items will then be sold in the charity's shops, eBay or Vinted stores to pay for nursing care. Please do support this vital charitable work by bringing your donations to the main school car park on Monday morning.
