Our new Senior Prefect Team received leadership training from The Life Skills Company on Thursday 16 September.

They attended a morning of workshops on presentation skills and the importance of body language, social skills and emotional intelligence. They were able to identify their own personality types, using the ‘DiSC assessment’ to determine their balance of dominance, influence, steadfastness and conscientiousness. They also learned the importance of teamwork through the creative use of a half-full bottle of water!

No doubt the skills learned will be put to good use as they embark upon their new roles as prefects.
