As part of our celebrations last spring marking The Queen's Platinum Jubilee, each of our four Houses planted a commemorative tree - Prunus x subhirtella 'Autumnalis Rosea' - in support of The Queen's Green Canopy - a tree planting initiative to create a sustainable legacy in honour of The Queen's leadership of the Nation.

We were delighted this week, to see that the trees are not only flourishing, but beginning to blossom, with delicate pink and white flowers festooning their young branches. Our beautiful 'Jubilee Avenue' is a poignant reminder of the shared celebrations we enjoyed as a school community and also the enduring legacy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
