1 - Why did you become a Houseparent and Boarding Assistant?

Miss Sheeran - I wanted to work with children on a one-to-one basis. I like enjoying getting to know everyone personally.
Miss Milner - In my first school I did half boarding and half teaching. In my second school I did no boarding, just teaching. So when I came to Queenswood I wanted to do just boarding.

2 - Favourite memory at Queenswood?

Miss Sheeran - Year 7 Bonding trip; Mrs Kane and I loved having a laugh on the bonding trip. Enjoyed challenges with the Year 7.
Miss Milner - Pick ’n’ mix treat night with just the Year 8s. A quote from Miss Sheeran: “Teamwork makes the dreamwork” 

3 - Favourite treat night?

Miss Sheeran - Wednesday board game night. Miss Milner - Edible sparklers.

4 - Favourite weekend activity?

Miss Sheeran - In-house movie night in PJs, visit to Thorpe Park, crafts with boarders.
Miss Milner - Pizza making workshop.

5 - What do you like best about Q?

Miss Sheeran - Everyone is really lovely and fun.
Miss Milner - Staff Choir makes it a real community.

6 - If you weren't working at Q what would you be doing?

Miss Sheeran - An outdoor ED instructor, teaching kayaking and archery.
Miss Milner - Working in education somewhere. Probably being a Drama and English teacher.

7 - What you wanted to be as a child?

Miss Sheeran - A set designer
Miss Milner - An actress

8 - What do you enjoy about your job?

Miss Sheeran - Myself and Miss Milner get on well and we love sharing an office with each other. We love being a two person team!
Miss Milner - We both know how to make each other motivated.

9 - Favourite house dog at Q?

Miss Sheeran - Benji (Stamp)
Miss Milner - Found this choice hard, but Zennor (Stamp)

10 - Fave celebration?

Miss Sheeran - Summer, I love late night walks and sunsets.
Miss Milner - Christmas, love to go big or go home!
