On Monday 4 March, Queenswood dance students travelled to Leeds to watch Phoenix Dance Theatre perform Christopher Bruce’s Shadows at the Carriageworks Theatre. 

They had the opportunity to participate in practical workshops, and experienced an interactive lecture demonstration analysing the features of the work, including set design and props, costume, lighting and key motifs (with demonstrations).

It was an invaluable experience, which the pupils thoroughly enjoyed.
