Congratulations to Bryony S (Year 7), artist of the month for October 2022. In celebration of Black History Month, she created this vibrant collage inspired by the work of Alma Thompson.

Bryony explained the symbolism behind her work: ‘There are three different colours – black, green and red. The green symbolises Mother Nature, black symbolises race, and red symbolises blood – these are the three colours of the Black History flag. The main section is a triangle, because there are three colours of the flag and three sides to a triangle.’
