We finished the musical year in style on Thursday 29 June, with a highly entertaining – and extremely well-attended – al fresco concert on Read Lawn.

Ensembles of all ages and sizes, along with a number of solo vocalists, performed an eclectic programme of classical and popular music.

We were joined once again by Rebetiko Carnival Band, who accompanied pupils from our choirs and orchestras in renditions of Greek and Israeli folk classics.

The evening concluded with a joyful performance of ‘Walking on Sunshine’, with enthusiastic audience participation, followed by a Greek meze supper in the Essame Studios.
