The A-Level dancers at Q have been working incredibly hard on preparing for their solo dance examination, which will take place in the new academic year. Despite the lockdown, they have returned to school in full force, developing, rehearsing and refining movement material to a very high standard.

Melissa L has been working on a solo in the style of Bob Fosse, encapsulating his distinctive jazz style, performing isolated movements, finger snapping, jutting hips and jazz hands, whilst Maddy D has been focusing on a different style of Jazz, performing successions of jazz style step balls changes, slow contractions and movements with propulsive energy. The students have worked very hard and are excited to be able to perform these to an audience one day soon!
