Sports Awards Dinner 2022

Thursday 28 April 2022

On Friday 22 April, Queenswood’s sports stars gathered with their families and members of staff for a wonderful celebratory dinner to honour achievement and participation over the last 12 months.

Mrs Wakeley, Director of Sport, revealed some impressive statistics – by the end of the Spring Term, 274 pupils had represented Queenswood on at least one occasion; there had been 601 competitive fixtures, featuring a total of 113 teams across 17 sports.

Our guest of honour was OQ Rowan McKellar, a world-class rower, European Silver Medalist and GB Olympian, who presented the prizes and gave an inspirational speech.

Many congratulations to all the prize winners, and thank you to everyone who attended this wonderful occasion.
