Last week, Mrs Platt-Hawkins, Queenswood’s Head of Art, visited Stormont School in Potters Bar to lead a workshop on felting.

One of the pupils sent us this lovely report:

‘We learnt how to felt with Mrs Platt-Hawkins from Queenswood. We learnt how to separate the fibres with carding brushes and layer them in different colours. Then we added warm soapy water and rubbed very hard to turn them into felt.  We based our design on sunsets. I loved learning how to felt. Thank you.’
