The final round of the John Fry Junior Public Speaking Competition was held on Monday 22 March. 

Having impressed their English teachers with their oratorical skills during lockdown, ten girls from Years 7 to 9 were selected to deliver a speech on a topic of their choice.

The winners were as follows:

• Year 7: Shenel O
• Year 8: Lily F
• Year 9: Sophia Z

The final of the Senior competition will take place in the Clarissa Farr Theatre after school on Tuesday 20 April, with the talks being streamed to pupils in their tutor rooms.
