Dance Scholarships
At Queenswood, we are proud to have a vibrant and flourishing Dance Department, offering both academic study and an extensive co-curricular programme for pupils of all ages and abilities.
Our students have the opportunity to explore and develop their skills across a wide range of dance styles, including contemporary, ballet, jazz, and commercial dance. They benefit from enriching experiences such as theatre trips to leading London venues including Sadler’s Wells and the West End, as well as workshops with professional dancers and choreographers from renowned companies and productions such as the James Cousins Dance Company, Six, Moulin Rouge, and Mamma Mia!
Our state of the art facilities include two fully equipped, mirrored dance studios and a 280-seat theatre, an inspiring environment for our dancers to rehearse and perform.
In addition to a 10% fee remission, our Dance Scholars receive ten dedicated training sessions each academic year. They have the opportunity to perform in the Scholars’ Showcase as part of the annual Queenswood Dance Show and enjoy regular visits to professional dance productions. Scholars are also encouraged to choreograph and assist with co-curricular dance clubs and events, further developing their leadership and creative skills.
Our specialist teachers will also provide one-to-one tuition for external auditions.
