Year 12 Textiles students took advantage of the last vestiges of summer as well as the extensive natural resources at Queenswood to try out ‘sun resist printing’.

Paint is applied to fabric then leaves are placed on top and the fabric is left to dry. As the moisture evaporates the paint is drawn out from underneath the leaves to leave an imprint.

This is easy to try at home!
