The annual Inter-House Debating competition was held on Friday 28 May for Years 7 to 10.

Working in pairs, pupils had ten minutes to prepare their arguments proposing or opposing an unseen motion, and two minutes each to speak.

The standard of debate, on topics ranging from the abolition of exams to the banning of meat-eating, was excellent.

• Year 7: Clapham North
• Year 8: Clapham Hartley
• Year 9: Waller
• Year 10: Hartley
• Overall winner: HARTLEY
