West End Star to judge Queenswood’s House Performing Arts Competition

We are thrilled to announce that Queenswood’s 2016 House Performing Arts Competition will be judged by Lindsey Wise.The competition, which amalgamates the traditional House Drama and Music contests, in its second year, and the standard promises to be extremely high.

Alongside performing in the West End, Lindsey has
taught many styles of dance, drama, singing and musical theatre to adults
and children in schools, dance schools and colleges throughout the country.
Education group, Ravenscourt Theatre School, The Rosie May Academy, Tring Park
Mountview and Queenswood are just a few of the schools/companies she
has taught at.
She has led many workshops including her own “West End Workshops”
and Richard Reynard’s “Musical Theatre High”.
She has also created her own self-created adult fitness classes named
West End Workout. She has also choreographed for numerous competitions
including ISTD Dance Awards and West End Theatre charities and been a guest judge
for competitions all over the country.
Lindsey comes from a classical
background and therefore also teaches Jazz, Ballet, Pointe work and partnering
to suit a very high technical level.
Lindsey is the Principal for West End Masterclass – a Musical Theatre School set up by her to train and develop the gifts of exceptionally talented performers. Her students have the amazing opportunity to work with West End stars, theatrical agents and casting directors on a weekly basis. She currently has over 90 students who come to the school each Sunday at the MTA in North London. Entry is by audition only.
