Our Music Scholars joined forces with Year 10 and A-Level music students to give a highly entertaining and eclectic ‘Virtuosi’ concert on Tuesday 30 January.

There were solo performances of pieces by Bach, Mollenhauer and Tanaka, music from the films Oliver! and Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence, and songs by ABBA and Adele.

Excitingly, we also enjoyed Year 10 ensemble renditions of two modern jazz classics: Miles Davis’ ‘All Blues’ and Herbie Hancock’s ‘Chameleon’.
