Violinist Lily wins place at Royal College of Music
Monday 24 April 2017
Congratulations to Lily Harwood, Year 10 Music Scholar, who has won places at both the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music Junior Departments for September 2017.
Competition for entry is intense: at the RCM, 380 talented young musicians applied for only 50 places. Now in the enviable position to choose between two great institutions, violinist Lily has decided to take up the offer from the Royal College of Music – currently ranked number 2 in the world and number 1 in the UK as the best place to study music.
Lily is currently studying with Damon Flanagan at Trinity/Laban Conservatoire and is a member of the National Youth String Orchestra.
