Could you be a Queenswood Scholar?
A Queenswood Scholar, whatever her field of endeavour – in the classroom or the studio, on the sports pitch or the stage, in the laboratory or the concert hall – is a shining example of the Queenswood Qualities.
She is resourceful and self-motivated. Her curiosity leads her to explore new pathways and to reach outside her comfort zone. And she has the resilience to overcome setbacks and meet challenges head on.
She might follow in the footsteps of her predecessors and become a leading film producer, or a director of David Attenborough’s programmes for the BBC. She might find herself facing Venus Williams at Wimbledon, or a full house at the Royal Albert Hall. She might become an anthropologist, a philologist or an entrepreneur. But her journey begins with an enriching, empowering Queenswood education.
From 2026, all new Queenswood Scholarships will attract a 10% fee remission as standard and pupils benefit from the bespoke Scholars’ Programmes, which are designed to stretch and build their particular area of expertise.
Where a candidate shows exceptional talent or promise in more than one area, the Principal may offer an award for all-round excellence or individual Scholarships. Combined fee remissions are unlikely to exceed 30% unless otherwise stated in the offer.
If you require financial assistance in order to take up a Queenswood Scholarship, please refer to the section on Bursaries. Simultaneous applications may be made for both a Scholarship and a means-tested Bursary.
Please note that all Scholarship candidates must be registered with the school and meet the school’s academic entrance criteria.
Queenswood Scholarships remain in place for the duration of a pupil’s time at the school and are reviewed annually.
To apply for a Scholarship please indicate your intention on the school’s Registration Form. The deadline to register is 1 October.
