Queenswood Pupils Awarded School Badges

Friday 8 October 2021

It has been a bumper season for badges this term. Due to Covid, last year many girls missed out on the opportunity to gain new awards such as the drama and dance badges for the school plays and dance performances. Also the girls were unable to wear their badges on their blazer lapels since they were unable to wear their uniform.

Over 1000 badges were issued this past week with every girl receiving at least one (don’t worry, Miss Langdon will sort out any missing badges as soon as she can) and many other girls gaining two or more. These included all our new girls receiving their competitive house badges, last year’s new girls receiving their Q shields, gold and silver bars, a number of sporting colours plus scholars and principal award holders.

We also recognise the new House Leadership team and the new Chapel Stewards. We introduced a new badge for Centre and we have issued Stamp badges to all our girls in Year 7 and 8.

Organising and distributing the badges is a mammoth task for Queenswood's Badge Co-ordinator Miss Langdon and the pupils would like to express their grateful thanks to her.
