Queenswood Girls’ Tenner Challenge Raises Hundreds for Charity

18 extremely enterprising Year 10 students participated in the Tenner Challenge in the spring term. Each received £10, and was tasked with realising as much profit as possible in four weeks.
The profits were split between the girls themselves and the school charities, and we are delighted to report that £375 was donated to good causes.
The run-away winner was Rachel Hanna with
Bake My Day. She made an outstanding £253 selling brownies and other homemade
cakes, and was very generous in donating it all to charity rather than keeping
