A couple of weeks ago we welcomed back to Queenswood, OQ Wendy Thomas who attended Q during the War, and has not returned since the 1940's. 

We were fortunate that Tricia Wrinch, OQA Chair, happened to be on site as Wendy arrived, and it quickly became apparent that Wendy had attended Q with Tricia's mother OQ Joan Reavell. It made for an emotional meeting with Wendy being able to regale stories of Tricia's late mother to her. 

Wendy, at 98 years old was surprisingly sprightly and what started as wanting to see the chapel soon became a full tour of the site! 

We were incredibly fortunate to be able to video Wendy in locations across the school sharing memories of her time at Queenswood for the archive.
