At Queenswood, we have set up a mentor partnership program with Northaw Primary School. The aim of this partnership is to give our pupils the opportunity to have an educational impact on another classroom.

They have chosen the theme of ‘being a positive upstander’ and have run sessions based on this for the Year 6 class at Northaw.

The partnership has been beneficial for our students and also for Northaw’s. It has taught our pupils to be confident and efficient, and to positively mentor others.

The girls ran their first session to perfection on Wednesday 17 May: they were well organised, encouraging and engaging.
