There are only three weeks to go now until we celebrate The Queen's Platinum Jubilee, marking Her Majesty's historic 70 years of service.  Just before we break for the half term holiday  on Friday 27th May, Queenswood will enjoy a special day of Jubilee fun, the highlight of which will be our Jubilee Lunch and where our Catering team will  serve the winning pudding from our Platinum Jubilee Pudding Competition.

As you may have seen in last week's newsletter, we are asking the pupils to join in the Jubilee fun by designing a crown or tiara to wear during the lunchtime party or to be put on display if they would prefer. There will be a prize for the best design which will be judged by Mr Nicholson from the Design and Technology Department.

We are sure that you will have lots of brilliant design ideas of your own but have also included some suggestions below which you might find helpful. Let's rock the regal look!
