Enrichment Week 2025: Unforgettable Experiences
Friday 27 June 2025
Enrichment Week 2025 was one of our busiest ever, as lessons were suspended for a packed programme of activities both in and out of school.
Highlights included:
- medieval warfare, chariot racing and a trip to Tate Modern for Year 7;
- a week of French cultural experiences for Year 8 in Paris, Deauville, Bayeux and beyond;
- a visit to the WW1 battlefields of Belgium and northern France and highly successful bronze Duke of Edinburgh expedition for Year 9;
- a Sixth Form experience day for Year 10, followed by water sports, rock climbing, drama and dance workshops and visit to Go Ape at Alexandra Palace;
- trips to Thorpe Park and Folkestone beach for Year 12 – the latter involving a community beach clean-up – as well as invaluable advice on UCAS applications, and a Taskmaster challenge!
Thank you to all staff who worked tirelessly to make these events possible. A special mention must go to Mrs Bullock, our External Visits Co-ordinator, whose meticulous planning ensured that the week went so smoothly.
