A MESSAGE FROM MRS CAMERON
The last few weeks have marked the beginning of GCSE and A Level examinations at Queenswood. As we reach the halfway point and next week’s break, I could not be more proud of the commitment and resilience shown by our Year 11 and 13 students.
Managing extensive revision programmes is no mean feat, requiring considerable effort and discipline. Our students have approached this challenge with focus and determination. It has been encouraging to see so many of them in school making use of the support available from teachers throughout the study leave and exam period.
Equally inspiring, has been the sense of camaraderie among the pupils; their support for each other demonstrates a level of maturity and kindness that speaks volumes about the ethos we foster at Queenswood.
The half-term holiday for our Year 11 and 13 students provides a valuable opportunity to rest and prepare for the final leg of the examination period. Pupils in other year groups will be using the time to prepare for their end-of-year exams, and I urge them to maintain a healthy balance between revision and relaxation.
There is much to accomplish, and much to enjoy over the next few weeks. I am confident our students will continue to work hard, support one another and take pride in doing their very best.
