Year 8 Art students enjoyed studying the spectacular creatures at Tring Natural History Museum on Tuesday 20 May.

Focusing on recording shape, pattern, texture and line, they eagerly drew from a variety of taxidermy specimens – from giant mammals to tiny fleas, exotic birds to deep sea coral, there was certainly a lot to enjoy visually and historically.

Students were able to observe even extinct animals. which left them curious, reflective and mindful of our natural world.
