Year 13 marked the beginning of study leave on Friday 9 May with an extremely moving Leavers’ Service in Chapel. Mrs Cameron gave an inspirational address about their futures as Old Queenswoodians, and Reverend Kate reflected in her sermon on the words of Head Girl Lisa O’s Bible reading from Ecclesiastes, ‘To every thing there is a season…’

You can watch a full recording of the service here. One of the highlights was the traditional performance of ‘Goin’ Up A Yonder’ by the Year 13 choir – as ever, a very emotional experience for everyone.

The service was followed by a formal dinner for pupils, parents and staff in the Dining Hall.
