UVI Leavers – Sumptuous Afternoon Tea at Luton Hoo

The Upper Sixth enjoyed a fittingly stylish end to their Queenswood careers with an afternoon tea at the stunning Luton Hoo Hotel in Bedfordshire on the afternoon of 21 May.
After a diverting talk on the history and conventions of tea-taking by our resident etiquette experts, Sixth Form Houseparent Lucy Merrell and Head of Pupils and Boarding Anne Wakefield, the girls tucked into a delightful spread of sandwiches, scones and cakes, observing centuries-old rituals. Tea was followed by a poignant, laughter-filled photo session in the beautiful gardens.
