Very many congratulations to Elizabeth Brockman (Mrs Hulbert) on your 100^th Birthday in April this year.  Elizabeth’s OQ daughter Anne said they had planned a big party with relatives coming from Scotland, USA and Canada, but unfortunately this had to be postponed due to the Coronavirus restrictions, but nevertheless she was able to make a big fuss of Elizabeth on her special day.

Elizabeth left Q in 1938, going on to college to study domestic science followed by working in a boarding school during and just after the war.  Elizabeth married in 1946 and had three children, two being girls, who also attended Q.  Anne said Elizabeth is still healthy, although has limited mobility, and is living in her own home with visiting carers and relatives and is an inspiration to many with her positive outlook on life.
