The Southern Branch Reunion took place at the Bell Inn, Brook, Hampshire on Thursday 18th July. The venue has previously been utilised and provides a lovely setting and private room for the get together. It was a good turn out with some OQs making a huge effort to attend, having travelled quite some distance to reach Brook. OQs were in good company with some attendees ranging from current and former OQA & Q Committee members, former and current OQA Chair and former Head Mistress.

It was a wonderful lunch, organised by Branch Secretary Rose Green (Mrs Spence), with news from Q and the OQA delivered by OQA Chair, Tricia Wrinch and Q’s Foundation Officer Jane van der Maat. The event was, however, tinged with some sadness as this was the last luncheon Rose will be organising, as she is stepping down from the Branch Secretary role, which she has undertaken brilliantly since 2012. Thank you to Rose for all her organisation and input over the years, which truly produced an active Southern Branch and well attended congenial luncheons.
