Melissa O is an A-Level Art student who is in the process of applying to study Architecture at university. In preparation, she attended an online introductory course to architectural model making and drawing, run by Reading University during the October half term.

The course included learning about form, lighting, void and mass matter as part of the design process. The photographs show Melissa developing her designs using the laser cutter in Queenswood’s Design and Technology workshop - a great way of combining her creative skills using both Art and Design.
