On Friday 2 October, OQ Roma Popat and her fiancé Vinal Patel tied the knot in a most unusual, Covid-19 compliant wedding ceremony.

Having already cancelled their initial wedding date of April 2020 because of the Coronavirus pandemic, Roma and Vinal bypassed the Covid-19 restrictions by inviting their two hundred guests to a most remarkable 'Drive-In' ceremony and celebrations.

The happy couple were married in front of a small gathering of their immediate family at Braxted Park, in Essex as their extended wedding party watched via live video link from their cars. Another three hundred guests also joined in the virtual festivities, tuning in from around the world.

Even with heavy rain on the day, the happy-couple showed true Queenswood resilience, greeting their guests from a golf buggy as hampers of snacks, delicious hot meals and anti-bacterial hand gel were delivered to their cars.

Roma and Vinal's spectacular, socially-distanced big day was certainly one they will never forget. Congratulations!
