The Upper Sixth is the pinnacle of a girl's career at Queenswood. Boarders live in three recently refurbished houses, Senior, Belling and Stamp, and enjoy the privacy of comfortable single rooms all of which have internet facilities.
The girls are able to cook their own evening meals if they wish in well-equipped, bright kitchens. As in the Lower Sixth, day girls are based in Bridge, although all girls come together at break times in the kitchens and delightful common rooms of the main houses. All Upper Sixth girls are given the role of School Leaders and are led by the Head Girl and her team of Deputies. They are encouraged to take on responsibility in a wide range of school activities such as leading the Charities Committee, the Environment Committee and assisting in the settling in of the new Year 7 girls.
