Queenswood was founded in 1894 by two Methodist ministers in Clapham Park. Christian values still underpin school society as the founders intended and the school Chapel remains the focus of interdenominational worship.  The school today, however, welcomes girls of all faiths and none. All members of the school attend morning chapel and Sunday services are also held. Opportunities are provided for the exploration of religious and ethical issues. Girls are encouraged to develop their own values and to articulate them with sensitivity and clarity. Three choirs provide choral music for services; the Queenswood Singers, Upper School Choir and Lower School Choir.
