Learning Support
The Learning Support department is able to cater for girls with mild general learning difficulties and some specific difficulties. The department will inform parents if we feel a girl will benefit from additional support and assessment. Our team of highly qualified specialist members of staff is able to identify individual needs and plan a programme of learning support to meet these needs, recognising that each girl presents with an individual profile. Often girls are taught individually and the lessons are centred around areas of the curriculum including mathematics, language skill, literacy skills and study skills. However, the key premise underlying our teaching is an affirming approach intended to help each girl develop her self esteem and reach her potential.
