Oh What A Lovely War Year 10 DT Pupils Commended   GCSE Product Design pupils recently exhibited their completed lighting projects at an exhibition hosted at Queenswood. The project formed part of the two GCSE classes’ preparation for the design, manufacture and marketing of a product prototype. Each pupil used a commercially manufactured low voltage lighting kit as the basis to create an innovative, self-assembly light that could be sold in a high street store. Some comments from visitors to the exhibition: “I thought that the lighting exhibition yesterday was fantastic. Lots of lovely lights of such a high standard; so much hard work put into all of them. Well done!” - Miss Daphne Walton, Hartley BA “…how impressed I was by the Year 10 DT exhibition today. The designs were great and many of the lights had been made beautifully, particularly the flower light.
