At the beginning of April Miss Sex and Miss Kingsley-Smith, who lead QUEST (Queenswood Events, Service and Time), spent two weeks in Malawi and Zambia researching a possible future World Action trip for sixth formers in the region.   They visited secondary schools in both countries and also development projects run by local NGOs, including those providing clean water in rural areas near Lake Malawi, youth empowerment in Zambia and HIV/AIDs programmes in Mzimba in northern Malawi.   Miss Sex said “I really was inspired by what I saw and humbled by those I met whilst in Africa; I now feel excited about planning a trip that will offer our more senior girls the same life-enriching opportunity”.
