The Fellowship Race night held on Friday 22 February in the dining room was an exciting noisy affair. Eight races were screened over the course of the evening with horses named and sponsored by individuals; lucky winners won a bottle of champagne. Betting was fast and furious with payouts of around £5 for a £1 stake if you backed the winner.

A break for supper of lasagne and choc ices (ably provided by Chartwells) ensured we all had sufficient energy to shout our horses home and gave us the opportunity to draw the main prize in the 200 Club of £1000! Congratulations to the winner.
