A triumph! Why? Expensive costumes? No. Months of rehearsals? No. Just heaps of talent, creativity and enthusiasm.

For the eighth year our overseas girls (for whom English is a foreign language), their friends and teachers combined to create a lively and memorable performance. The 'EFL and Friends Show' took place in the theatre just before Christmas and featured: solo, duet and group singing; ballet performances; dialogues; monologues; poetry readings; sketches; a Christmas video; a Tae Kwando demonstration and an ‘air guitar’ competition, won by Housemistress Miss Elsje Maassen. Lively comparing completed the mix. 

Everyone - performers and the audience alike - thoroughly enjoyed themselves, as their comments afterwards testified. We already have offers of acts for next year, so watch this space.
