On Saturday October 24    2009, a group of Old Queenswoodians joined our Principal, her husband, and the Director of External Communications for a reunion brunch at Thalia’s Restaurant in New York.   Present was Alison Derrick (nee Maile), who left in 1976; Amanda Graves (nee Gluckstein) who left in 1979; and Jane Whitman (nee Clark) and Ayodele Akinrinade, who left in the late 90s.

Seated around a large round table, the ladies quickly introduced themselves and found themselves immersed in telling stories of their times at Queenswood. Reminiscing about favourite teachers, mischievous antics and School protocol, it was fascinating to just sit back and listen! We updated our OQs on all the current news and events, and everyone was most pleased to hear about our excellent examination results, exciting master plan, and lead project.
