We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mrs. Victoria Renaudon-Smith as the Deputy Principal Academic, beginning in September 2010. Mrs Renaudon Smith has an impressive curriculum vitae, and brings a wealth of experience to the post. At present, she is Head of French and Senior Tutor to the UVI at Queenswood. Previously she worked at Godolphin and Latymer School in Hammersmith for four years, where she managed the Modern Foreign Languages faculty, which offered six languages. She has also worked at North London Collegiate School where her daughters were educated. There, she became Second in the Languages department. Subsequently she moved to become Head of Languages at Channing school in Highgate.

At Queenswood, in her two roles, Mrs Renaudon Smith is able to combine her enjoyment of the academic and pastoral sides of education. She is now eager to take on her responsibilities and build on the significant accomplishments of our current Deputy Principal Academic, Mr Richard Morgan.

"I am excited by the opportunity of working as part of Mrs Edgar’s senior team and looking forward to being in the post next September. I am in a very fortunate position right now, not only because I already know the girls and the staff, but also because I am able to look over Richard Morgan’s experienced shoulder for two terms until his departure this summer."
