We are looking forward to welcoming all new girls and families who are joining the Queenswood community from September 2010.   We are sure you will be feeling excited and happy about coming to Queenswood – fondly called ‘Q’ by everyone here - but you may also be feeling a little nervous, which is understandable.   Q is a large and busy school and everyone will assist in whatever way we can to make you feel ‘at home’, whether you are a boarder or day girl (or even a new member of staff)!  

When you get here, there will be plenty of people around to assist you and answer your questions.   Housemistresses, boarding assistants, teachers, tutors and girls of all year groups will be around to talk to you, help you find your way around and help you to settle in as quickly as possible.  

We know the early days in a new school can be tiring but exciting, no matter how old you are, and it takes a while to get into the swing of things at Q.   Over the summer holidays we will be sending out a pack of information to all families which should be read through carefully, sending back any forms in good time for the start of the new term.

We hope everyone has a fun and relaxing holiday and we shall see you at the start of the new academic year.
