Our Aberdare Cup team have qualified for the National Finals to take place at Queenswood from 6 - 9 July.   The regional final against Godolphin & Latymer proved to be another nail biting event with the match level at 2-2 after the singles.   Both doubles matches were decided on Championship tie breaks, with Queenswood coming out as the winners.   Our Tennis Captain Marina L said ‘I suddenly realised that this was it: if we did not win the tie break we would be out of the Aberdare Cup’.   Marina and her partner Holly L then played some outstanding tennis to take the match, supported by our other pair of Anya L-D and Dominique G.

For the Aberdare Cup Finals our first round match will be against Cheltenham Ladies College on Monday 6 July, starting around 1.30 p.m.    Supporters are very welcome and you will have the opportunity to see our players in action.
