Queen's Birthday Honour for eminent OQ
In Her Majesty the Queen’s recent Birthday Honours List, Professor Alison Richard, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge, was awarded the DBE and has now become Professor Dame Alison Richard.
Dame Alison was educated at Queenswood, leaving in 1965 to pursue what has been an illustrious academic career.
OQ Amy Kee wins Rookie of the Year
Amy Kee (OQ 2009) is in her freshman year at Syracuse University, NY. Last week, she was named Rookie of the Year, beating competition from all the University's sports departments.
