Recently nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Cherie Blair in The Queen, OQ Helen McCrory goes from strength to strength. Helen was last at Queenswood when she officially opened The Clarissa Farr Theatre last year. She took a break from filming Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix to attend the gala evening, in her role as Theatre Patron. Shortly afterwards, Helen had to pull out of filming Harry Potter, where she was cast as Bellatrix Lestrange, due to her pregnancy. In September 2006 she and fiancee Damien Lewis celebrated the arrival of daughter Manon. We understand that Helen will be working on Bayley Walsh's Flashbacks of a Fool with Daniel Craig shortly, as well as a theatre production of Rosmersholm. Helen (on the right of picture) meeting up with former As You Like It co-star, Sienna Miller at the recent 60th anniversary of the Baftas.
